According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Commerce, the market price of national production materials increased by 3.7% month-on-month in December. From the main varieties:
Coal prices increased by 2.2% month-on-month, steam coal, No. 2 anthracite coal, and coking coal prices increased by 2.7%, 1.5%, and 0.7%, respectively, month-on-month; they rose by 2.7% year-on-year.
The price of steel rose by 2.9% month-on-month. The prices of ordinary medium plates, hot-rolled strip steel, welded steel pipes, and channel steel increased by 4.1%, 4%, 3.2% and 3.1%, respectively, and 4.9% year-on-year.
Non-ferrous metal prices rose 7.1% month-on-month, copper, aluminum, and zinc prices rose 8.7%, 5.8%, and 4.8% month-on-month; they rose 17.1% year-on-year.
The price of refined oil rose by 6.2% month-on-month. The prices of No. 0 diesel, No. 92 gasoline, and No. 95 gasoline rose by 6.4%, 5.8% and 5.5% respectively, and fell by 17.1% year-on-year.
Chemical fertilizer prices rose 1.1% month-on-month, urea and ternary compound fertilizer prices rose 1.1% and 0.6% month-on-month; they rose 0.3% year-on-year.
